Jewell Jones: My name is Jewell Jones, and this is my daughter Taffy Jones.
Taffy Jones: And we’ve brought in my great-grandfather’s--her grandfather’s--Pullman Porter Hat. He worked for the Great Northern Railroad as a Pullman, and my grandfather also became a Pullman and steward, and then worked his way up through the ranks and became an executive assistant for one of the presidents of one of the railroad companies in Minnesota, Burmish (sp?) Northern Railroad. So, the men in our family worked on the train, and this [hat] is just a reminder of where they started, and where we’ve come from.
